Citizen science is a unique opportunity to generate information on fish and water at the scale of the Amazon, and to involve citizens as informed and empowered stakeholders in the sustainable management of fisheries and the conservation of Amazon wetlands.
The Citizen Science Program allows organizations collaborate to empower citizens and generate knowledge about the fish and aquatic ecosystems of the Amazon Basin: the world’s largest freshwater system.
