Held February 12-14 at the Sinchi Institute, the Planning Workshop of the Citizen Science in the Amazon Project brought together 35 specialists involved in the study and conservation of wetlands and fisheries in the Amazon Basin.

The event brought together the most active partners leading the development and implementation of the technological solutions and strategies of the Citizen Science for the Amazon Project and focused on analyzing the progress, challenges, and best practices of the last two years to plan a strategy that will allow the long-term sustainability of the initiative, agreeing on principles, vision, mission, goals, results and action plans.
