General Assembly of the Amazon Waters Alliance (October 2024)

The General Assembly of the Amazon Waters Alliance was held virtually on October 16, 2024. A total of 25 representatives from partner organizations participated in the virtual meeting, which was presided over by Carolina Doria from the Federal University of Rondônia. The Assembly addressed the following key points proposed by the Board of Directors: A) Present the management progress, evaluate the Board of Directors' performance, make recommendations for its improvement, and provide feedback to the Technical Secretariat and the Alliance Programs through the approval of the annual report. B) Provide information on communication-related topics and updates on the code of conduct. The Technical Secretariat presented the Annual Report of the Board of Directors for the period from May 2023 to July 2024, and the Assembly approved it unanimously. The Conduct Committee reported that it is working on the review of a case, which is being handled confidentially.
