Students complete a year of fish monitoring in the Tapajós and Amazon basins

Ninety-eight students from the regions of Santarém, Itaituba and Aveiro, western region of Pará, celebrate the results of the collections through the Ictio application of the Citizen Science  for the Amazon Network. Together, the communities made 1,777 registrations in the application, identifying the species most caught, the quantity, and the number of fish. At each new fishing trip, the students, who are children of fishermen, also register photos of the fish.
