February 15, 2024 | Amazon Giant Migratory Catfish Species: connecting the Amazon from the Andes to the Atlantic Ocean (CMS Side Event)
Giant Amazonian catfishes figured prominently in the Convention on Migratory Species. Representatives of the Amazon Waters Alliance participated in a side event on the importance of including these species in Appendix II of CMS.
